Dr. Alexa Arencibia was raised in Hiawassee, Georgia. She received her undergraduate degree in business management from the University of North Georgia where she graduated with recognition of Cum Laude. She then received her doctorate of optometry from Kentucky College of Optometry in Pikeville, Kentucky. While there she gained extensive clinical training at the Kentucky College of Optometry Clinic, various private practices, and community health centers. Additionally, she trained at Omni Eye Services and Milan Eye Center where she gained her clinical knowledge in treating and managing various ocular diseases. She comes from a family with a passion for eyecare. Her father and sister are also optometrists serving the people of Northeast Georgia. Dr. Alexa is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
It is with so much joy that she expands her family business and has the opportunity to bring exceptional eye care to Rabun County. When she is not in the office, Dr. Alexa enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, friends, fiancé Dane, and their two dogs Beau and Birdie.
